Our upper deck, 14 steps up, was invaded by
one or more raccoons. Egg shells in my red
watering can seemed to be the attraction the
first time. After carefully extracting
all the shells from the water and chewing on some
hen and chicks, only one container was dug up.
I left a radio on overnight so there were no visitors
the next night.
Last night I forgot to turn up the radio and
found a real mess this morn. Three containers were
scattered over the deck, one had no plants left.
Any egg shells in my large tomato planter
had been dug out knocking green cherry tomatoes
over the edge.
Most surprising, a large chunk was bitten off
the cactus but not eaten!!!
