Using a "BQ" pattern and fabric from my 'old stash', I made this throw for our bed. It took me almost two years to add borders as I kept buying fabric to finish quilt and was NOT happy until I saw Vernon guild members had added a border same as background. The pattern gave NO suggestions for finishing. Then I made a strata of fabrics and took apart another quilt for more bkgd fabric and then added the green and main fabric. I used a faux piping binding for another little bit of interst. My friend Brenda Barrit longarm quilted. I am sooo pleased with this quilt.
